Our senior activities director visits each home weekly to engage our residents in fun games and crafts. Often these senior activities are seasonally themed and encourage our residents to participate, socialize and explore creativity.
We’ve found that providing structured organized activities for our residents creates a sense of purpose for their lives. Often the elderly can experience depression due to a sudden lack of work or purpose in their lives. This is especially true if they’re physically disabled in any way.
Diana, our Activities Director, has an unending imagination and ability to engage our residents in activities that help to create new experiences, friendships and happy moments for all of our residents.
